Abstract
ASTRIDs synkrotronlys driver blød-røntgen-mikroskopi med ~30 nm opløsning. Den høje koherens og intensitet muliggør kontrastmekanismer, som laboratoriekilder sjældent kan levere. Eksemplerne (bl.a. algen Chlorella) viser, hvordan billeddannelse i realprøver giver indsigt i økosystemers mikrofysik. For materialefysikere er synergien mellem strålekilde, optik og detektor central. En stærk showcase for ASTRIDs samfundsrettede potentiale.
