Abstract

Denne artikel giver en fysikbaseret gennemgang af IPCC’s femte hovedrapport og de underliggende klimamodeller. Fokus er på energibalance, drivhuseffekt og usikkerheder i klimafremskrivninger. Artiklen formidler komplekse modeller på en måde, der er tilgængelig for fysikere uden specialisering i klimavidenskab. Samtidig diskuteres evidensgrundlaget og de statistiske metoder bag konklusionerne. For læseren bliver det tydeligt, hvordan fysik spiller en central rolle i forståelsen af globale klimaforandringer. En essentiel artikel i et samfundsrelevant emne.
