Spring is a peer-reviewed humanities journal that has served as a forum for Danish literature since 1992, addressing everyone with a passion for literature. From its earliest beginnings, the journal has featured articles, essays, interviews, authors’ reflections on their own work, selected works of fiction, and carefully chosen new translations of philosophical, sociological, or literary-theoretical texts with particular relevance to contemporary literary and cultural debate.
Many issues are theme-oriented and take the pulse of developments in literature at a given moment. At the same time, we also publish articles outside the thematic focus, and we welcome cross-aesthetic perspectives as well as contributions that engage in dialogue with international currents and trends.
For our themed issues, we invite contributions that primarily engage with the most recent literature in combination with current existential, social, or planetary concerns. We also warmly welcome unsolicited article submissions. We advocate a form of scholarly dissemination driven by a combination of academic expertise and literary passion, strengthening the literary community.
