This article explores the significance of professional school concerts for the well-being of children and young people. In this context, well-being is conceived as a phenomenon closely intertwined with processes of Bildung and experiences of resonance. The study draws on a mixed-methods design that integrates teacher evaluations, classroom observations, and theoretical perspectives from research on Bildung, resonance, and network theory. The analysis shows how pupils open themselves to the music, the musicians, and the concert situation as an aesthetic encounter through which they may be moved, disrupted, and engaged. The findings suggest that school concerts can foster meaningful moments of attentiveness, presence, and musical immersion that support pupils’ personal and relational development and widen their horizons within everyday school life.
