Trivsel og afstandsløshed?
– en eksistensfilosofisk refleksion over sansningens afstandsløshed, trivsel og sangskrivning som musikpædagogisk aktivitet

Based on the Danish philosopher K. E. Løgstrup’s claim that perception is not receptive but without distance, the article explores the concept of well-being in relation to collaborative songwriting in music education. Løgstrup’s phenomenological insights on sensing, uniting opposites, and attunement are accompanied by Martin Heidegger’s concept of Mitsein and Peter Sloterdijk’s reflections on the intimacy of hearing. In the light of these thinkers, the pedagogical question of well-being is understood, not only as a psychological category that denotes “feeling good”, but also as an existential connection to an always-already shared world. The purpose of the article is to articulate an existential understanding of well-being and point towards songwriting in music education as a way of exploring issues of well-being together with students.
