Abstract

I det følgende fremlægges resultaterne af Dansk Center for Forskningsanalyses pilotstudie af co-location projekter. Co-location projekter forstås overordnet set i rapporten som en delmængde af alle interaktioner mellem universitetet (den offentlige forskning) og industrien (det private erhvervsliv). Man kan tale om co-location projekter, når parterne arbejder sammen om det samme projekt – og når dette arbejde foregår på den samme lokation.

Co-location er ikke tidligere beskrevet som selvstændigt begreb eller fænomen i litteraturen. Derfor har en vigtig del af formålet med nærværende rapport været at afgrænse co-location projekter fra andre former for industri-universitetssamarbejde (jf. kapitel 1). Nærværende pilotstudie af co-location har således på den ene side haft til formål at klarlægge begrebet og opstille en typologi over industri-universitetssamarbejde, der kan adskille co-location fra andre samarbejdsformer, og på den anden side at undersøge en række eksempler på co-location. Vi har i studiet udvalgt fire cases, som præsenteres i kapitel 2, og har i alt interviewet 18 personer med tilknytning til disse cases om deres erfaringer med co-location projekter.
