While technological change is often occurring at what appears to be a rapid pace, the pace at which technology is absorbed into an organization is, in fact, quite slow. This paper discusses the need for patience in accepting and preparing for organizational change. Specifically it discusses the authors' experiences in a project where many types of workshops were used to help foster an environment where the participants could find ways to express their needs for new computer support.Downloads
