Resumé

Der er forskningsmæssig evidens for musikterapis effekt i forhold til stress, og flere studier peger på, at der også kan ses en god effekt af musikterapi ved arbejdsrelateret stress. Ved alvorlige stress-symptomer kan behandling med musikterapi være et værdifuldt bidrag til at komme sig og forbedre evnen til at mestre arbejdsrelateret stress. Musikterapi kan reducere psykologiske og biologiske stress-symptomer som angst, depression, anspændthed, søvnbesvær og forhøjet blodtryk. Det er endvidere påvist, at musikterapi kan reducere mængden af stresshormoner, styrke immunforsvaret og stimulere motivation og arbejdsglæde. I en dansk RCT-undersøgelse med langtidssygemeldte stressramte var 83 % af deltagerne tilbage på arbejde 9 uger efter musikterapi-behandling.
Musikterapi på arbejdspladsen i form af musiklytning eller musikalsk sammenspil som vej til et bedre socialt samspil og større gensidig opbakning kan have stor betydning for den enkeltes oplevelse af det psykiske arbejdsmiljø. Musikterapi kan på denne måde forbedre kommunikation, teambuilding og gensidig støtte på arbejdspladsen og dermed reducere isolation, udbrændthed og stress-sygemeldinger.
