Resumé

Et kræftbehandlingsforløb kan resultere i omfattende følelsesmæssig lidelse, herunder angst hos patienten. Ved strålebehandling kan patienten opleve angst bl.a. på grund af følelsen af at miste kontrollen, når vedkommende skal ligge alene og fikseret under behandlingen. Musikinterventioner er anerkendt som en evidensbaseret ikke-farmakologisk tilgang i udfordrende kliniske situationer inden for flere medicinske områder, herunder til at reducere angst i forbindelse med kræftbehandling. Med det narrative review som metode sætter artiklen fokus på musikinterventioner i strålebehandling med henblik på angstreduktion. Litteratursøgningen præsenteres, hvorefter ti inkluderede studier analyseres for at svare på hovedspørgsmålet om, hvad der karakteriserer musikinterventionerne i studierne. Analysen søger ligeledes at afdække, hvilke fagpersoner der er involveret og på hvilken måde. Karakteristik af de udvalgte studier giver anledning til at diskutere timing af musikintervention i behandlingsforløbet, musikvalget, samt behovet for tværfagligt samarbejde i forbindelse med musikinterventioner i strålebehandling.
