Editorial

This is our penultimate number as editors of Scandinavian Political Studies in its new quarterly format. We shall have edited the journal for three years and following the rules of the Nordic Political Science Association time has come to hand over to a representative from another Nordic land. The new editor, as of Volume 4 (1981), will be Professor Krister Ståhlberg. We wish him every success as editor, and hope that he will enjoy working with political scientists from both Scandinavia and elsewhere as much as we have done. We would ask prospective contributors send manuscripts after October 1980 to Krister Ståhlberg at the following address:

The changeover from yearbook to quarterly has not been without problems, we believe that SPS has successfully survived the transition - for which we must thank not only those who have contributed to the journal, but also those who have kindly responded to editorial requests for an evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Last but not least, we would like to thank the executive members of the Nordic Political Science Association for their encouragement and support over the past three years.
