Lincopensen – dess författare och förlagor
Resumé
This article deals with the first monograph from the project "Lexicographic tradition in Sweden", a dissertation by Monica Johansson, Lexicon Lincopense: En studie i lexikografisk tradition och svenskt språk vid 1600-talets mitt (Gothenburg, 1997). The dissertation is a lexicographic and linguistic study of Dictionarium Latino-Sveco-Germanicum, printed in Linköping in 1640 and often named Lincopensen. The main aims are to decide the place of Lincopensen in a historical lexicographic tradition and to investigate the relation between the Swedish in two different parts of the dictionary. After a brief presentation of the disposition and the major results some specific questions are discussed, mostly concerning the pre-history of Lincopensen, e.g. the possibility of finding further models for the dictionary and using orthographic tools to distinguish one author from another.Downloads
