Klima- og økosjælesorg: Pastoralteologisk refleksivitet som udgangspunkt

Pastoralteologien har i de senere år taget det voksende fokus på klimaforandringer og biodiversitetskrise til sig med øje for den vigtige rolle, som kirken kan spille. Her har sjælesorgen ikke mindst blik for mentale reaktioner som klimaangst, -traumer og -sorg. At gå ind i det pastorale arbejde med klimasjælesorg kan imidlertid udfordre sjælesørgerens egne reaktioner på den menneskeskabte klimakrise, der blandt andet kan relatere sig til forskellige former for benægtelse, forsimpling og antropocentrisk teologi. På baggrund af pastoralteologisk teori og praksis, herunder mit eget arbejde med sjælesorg, vil jeg i denne artikel argumentere for sjælesorgens rolle i at drage omsorg for vores klode. I artiklen peger jeg på, hvordan en øget pastoralteologisk refleksivitet omkring vores forhold til verden er helt basal for klimasjælesørgerisk praksis. I artiklens sidste del illustrerer jeg en simpel øvelse som inspiration til, hvordan sjælesorgen eksempelvis kan bidrage til en refleksiv proces gennem understøttelse af et opbyggeligt og kollektivt rum, der åbner os for verden med andre arter og liv end det menneskelige, og som søger at modgå forskellige former for handlingslammelse – både for sjælesørgere og sjælesorgssøgende.
