Geografisk Tidsskrift, Bind 94 (1994)Change of editorThe Editorial Board Niels Kingo Jacobsen, Vice-President of the Royal Danish Geographical Society and Professor Emeritus at the Geographical Institute, Copenhagen University, has recently retired as chief editor of Geografisk Tidsskrift. He took over the job from the former vice-president, Professor Niels Nielsen, at the beginning of the fifties and since then, he has continuously published more than 40 issues of Geografisk Tidsskrift. Niels Kingo Jacobsen has in this way done a great deal of work, for which the Danish Royal Society is very indebted. He has always kept Geografisk Tidsskrift at a high level and in his time as chief editor, many articles of high international standard were published in the journal. He will still be chief editor of the other series published by the Royal Danish Geographical Society: Folia Geographica Danica, Atlas over Danmark and Kulturgeografiske Hæfter. The new chief editor of Geografisk Tidsskrift is Professor Henrik Breuning-Madsen. He is professor of soil geography and environmental science at the Geographical Institute, Copenhagen University. |
