Forfatterbiografier

Linnea Ytting, Københavns Universitet

Currently completing her Ph.D. at the Department of Sport and Exercise Science, University of Copenhagen. The Ph.d. dissertation tackles challenges with lifestyle changes in middle-aged people suffering from heart disease. Linnea graduated with a Master’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science and Philosophy and has completed several evaluations as well as research assignments within the field of sport and health science. Linnea is a Committee member of the Forum for Idræt, Historie og Samfund (Forum for Sport, History and Society) and is co-editor of this special issue on sport and development.

Bo Vestergård Madsen, Lokale og Anlægsfonden

Bo Vestergård Madsen is a former researcher at the Institute for Literature, Media and Cultural Studies, University of Southern Denmark and Research Institute for Sport, Culture and Civil Society in Gerlev/IFO. He has published studies about body culture, social movements and democracy, especially with respect to sports and gymnastics in the arena of “sport for all”. Bo is currently Head of Analysis at The Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities that supports and develops new projects and buildings for citizens in Denmark. Bo is a Committee member of the Forum for Idræt, Historie og Samfund (Forum for Sport, History and Society) and is co-editor of this special issue on sport and development.
