Contrary to banking-type education, Freire's proposal converges with a decolonial conception of knowledge and a break with the colonial and Eurocentric structures also present in education. Given this, we bring some reflections on modern-western, Eurocentric and colonial knowledge, as well as Freire's contributions centered on dialogue as a way to build other knowledge and sociability, including in the classroom. Thus, a decolonial pedagogy focuses on a non-banking model education, and therefore an education based on the dialogue of knowledge, epistemological and ontological coexistence, with a curriculum open to other non-Eurocentric knowledge, to other subjects.</p> ER -
